Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

EIWare LLC ("EIWare," "we," "us," or "our") operates EIWare Lite, an AI-powered business communication platform ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Service.

By using EIWare Lite or providing your information to us or to a business powered by EIWare Lite, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

From businesses (our direct customers):

  • Business name, contact name, email address, and mailing address
  • Billing and payment information (processed by third-party payment processors)
  • Business phone numbers associated with the Service
  • Configuration data, conversation logs, and usage analytics

From end customers (consumers who interact with Eli on behalf of a business):

  • Phone number (required to send and receive SMS/voice messages)
  • Name and other identifying information provided during conversation
  • Appointment details, service preferences, and conversation history
  • Device type and carrier information transmitted by the messaging network

3. SMS Data Handling

How we collect phone numbers: Phone numbers are collected when a consumer initiates contact with a business using EIWare Lite (inbound SMS or voice), or when a business uploads or enters customer contact information into the platform.

How phone numbers are used: Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the Service — sending appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-up messages, and other communications requested by or on behalf of the business customer. We use Twilio and similar telecommunications providers to transmit messages.

We do not sell or share phone numbers or SMS message content with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Opt-out: Any consumer may reply STOP to any SMS message to immediately unsubscribe from further messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Opt-out requests are processed automatically and immediately.

Retention: Phone numbers and message logs are retained for the duration of the business customer's active account plus 90 days, unless a shorter retention period is required by law or requested by the consumer.

4. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To send transactional messages on behalf of business customers
  • To authenticate users and prevent fraud
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To respond to support requests
  • To generate aggregate, de-identified analytics (no individual consumer is identifiable)

We do not use consumer data for purposes beyond operating the Service without explicit consent.

5. Information Sharing

We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Telecommunications carriers (Twilio), cloud infrastructure providers (Google Cloud), and payment processors operate under data processing agreements with us.
  • Business customers: The business using EIWare Lite has access to conversation data for their own customers.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of EIWare, our customers, and the public.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction with notice to affected parties.

We never sell personal data. We never share personal data with advertising networks or data brokers.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

8. GDPR (EEA Residents)

For users in the European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing personal data include: (a) performance of a contract; (b) compliance with legal obligations; and (c) our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. Contact us at the address below to exercise these rights.

9. Children's Privacy

EIWare Lite is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify business customers of material changes by email or in-app notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
